Offshore Crane Operator:

  • Crane operator aboard "Songa Venus", a semi submersible operating offshore Western Australia.

  • Operating two National OS215, 45 tonne swl and 24 tonne swl and one Seatrax 9032, 45 tonne swl cranes.

  • In charge of deck crew and responsible for lifting operations, fire team, anchor work, helideck operations and supply boats.

January 2007 to August 2007:

  • Crane operator aboard " Chikyu", a 5th generation drillship.

  • 2 x 45 and 2 x 85 tonne hydralift knuckle boom cranes.
